When we talk about heritage brands that have made a mark in the rugged footwear industry, Timberland stands tall, boasting a legacy that spans half a century. As the brand turns 50 this year, it's only apt to see them collaborate with some of the most esteemed names in fashion. Enter nonnative, the Japanese fashion powerhouse setting trends and raising the style quotient with its thoughtful design aesthetics.
Both brands delve deep into a military-inspired palette for this collaboration, presenting a Timberland Field Boot adorned with a muted “Taupe” hue. The nappy suede overlays are a standout feature, seamlessly complementing the durable Cordura mesh base. One can't miss the glint of the metallic silver D-rings that serve as the boot's eyestays. Timberland's iconic tree logo finds its place on the tongue and is debossed gracefully into the lateral heel, ensuring the brand's legacy is front and center. On the inside, the co-branded insole cements the collaboration, while nonnative adds its distinct touch with a suede hangtag patch emblazoned with its logo. All of this rests above a tonal rubber midsole and matching outsole.
The nonnative x Timberland Field Boot will release August 25, 2023, through Timberland, nonnative, and select retailers in Japan. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
