The OTTO 958 x Asics Gel-Flexkee releases September 14

Asics has been on a strong run of collaborative efforts as of late with the Japanese-based footwear label teaming up with GALLERY DEPT, Cecilie Bahnsen, and Ronnie Fieg’s Kith in 2023. Another consistent partner has been Kiko Kostadinov who outside of his own design imprint has helped spawn collectives like OTTO 958 which have begun to amass followers due to the unique design aesthetic brought forth by its members. Now, OTTO 958 has landed a collaboration with Asics on a brand-new silhouette.

So far teased in three colorways, the soccer cleat-like silhouette dubbed the Gel-Flexkee has been spotted in a tonal “Hunter Green,” “Black” and “Gunmetal” with all three featuring an asymmetrical tongue design. Stitching details across the upper create a woven-like pattern and stop around the Asics tiger strip near the midfoot. Included in the silhouette is a large cover on the tongue that blocks the Asics-branded tag while also acting as branding for OTTO 958 with its “O” shaped design. Back on the heel, OTTO 958 branding is placed in bold letters while a small Asics logo rests just above. Rounding out the design is the sectioned-off midsole which takes on tonal shades for each respective colorway paired with a rubber outsole that comes in the same shade.

The OTTO 958 x Asics Gel-Flexkee will release August 14, 2023 through select retailers online and in-store while a global launch via asics.com will go down September 14, 2023. Releasing in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
