Though Puma Basketball sneakers have not seen the same success that Nike has in the last 30 years, their signature line with LaMelo Ball has proven to be a hit among both sneakerheads and ball players. While clean Team Colors in "Red," "Blue," and "White" make up its latest drop, though the upcoming Puma MB.01 "Be True" takes things into the "What Not?" realm with a wild mix of colors.
Keeping in theme with the lines “Not From Here” motto, the sneaker takes on a mismatched multi-color mix of various shades including reds, purples, greens, and blues. The toeboxes come split in a two-tone mashup of red/purple and blue/green, accenting the eyestays housing the red laces. Along the midfoot, the monomesh underlay gets covered in the phoenix wings present on all pairs of MB.01’s with one side coming in a highlighter neon green and the other taking on a galaxy print. Sockliners match the midsoles color of purple on the right pair and blue on the left. Rounding out the look is the semi-translucent rubber outsole split between green and red on the left and right pair respectively.
The Puma MB.01 Be You is slated to release in July 2022 through Puma and select Puma retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s and kids sizing, the retail price is set at $120 for mens pairs.
