Puma and LaMelo Ball’s MB.02 toes a perfect line between a functional basketball sneaker and a lifestyle hit. It has all the tech needed to be a valuable weapon on the court while retaining a lifestyle appeal that allowed it to produce a popular Rick and Morty collaboration. Puma dresses the MB.02 in a sleek "Oreo" colorway for this upcoming release.
Black shrouds this release from head to toe. Mesh and synthetic overlays combine to create the upper. The wing-shaped overlays are painted a shiny black and hug the mesh tightly across the vamp. Puma’s formstripe appears in a solid black on the heel quarter. White Puma branding breaks up the monochrome makeup, with “M.E.L.O.” and LaMelo’s angel wings logo also appearing in white. Wing motifs carry down to the midsole, which is dressed in black like the rest of the model. White speckles adorn the midsole, ensuring the variation is true to its “Oreo” name. A black outsole featuring a white Puma logo on the heel, and LaMelo’s signature on the tip of the toe round out this stealthy model.
The Puma MB.02 Oreo is set to release August 11, 2023, through Puma and select retailers, online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
