Unearthing a beloved gem from the '80s, Puma is set to revive the Palermo silhouette. The sneaker was once a familiar sight in soccer stadiums across the globe and returns during a period in which adidas' own soccer shoe, the Samba, is dominating trends. After a successful 2021 release, Puma has decided to reintroduce the Palermo in its classic "Blue White" colorway.
Embracing its rich heritage, the Puma Palermo "Blue White" retains the features that made it a standout amongst football fans. The shoe boasts a suede and canvas upper steeped in navy. Pristine white accents then adorn the lace set, leather Formstrip, and sockliner. Metallic gold Puma Palermo branding highlights the midfoot, while a terrace-style gum sole completes the look.
The Puma Palermo "Blue White" will release July 8th through Puma online and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizes, the retail price is set at $100. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app for the latest updates, news, and more from the sneaker and streetwear world.
