Pusha T and adidas have worked together on small one-off collaborations over the years, though now fans can look forward to a new collection from the duo. First teased months back with King Push rocking a pair of collaborative adidas Sambas, it seems a new "Thorn" Collection is coming from the duo. Now, the former-President of G.O.O.D. Music was seen taking the stage at Coachella wearing his own adidas Supernova Cushion 7 under this “Thorn” Collection.
Keeping that same retro feel from the adidas Supernova Cushion 7, Pusha T brings forth a colorway that combines neutral shades of white, silver, grey, and black, with hints of light blue on the mesh portions of the shoe. Overlays around the toe and midfoot feature these neutral hues, with the toebox, midfoot, and sidewall hosting the previously mentioned light blue mesh. Stark whites hit the tongue, lace set, collar, and heel, with adidas branding coming primarily in darker shades. This is found on the midfoot with black and silver Three Stripes branding, while metallic Supernova branding sits atop the tongue. As for Pusha’s inclusion in the model, Thorn branding is placed on the heel. The shoe is finished with a black and grey adiPRENE+ midsole and black rubber outsole.
The Pusha T x adidas Supernova Cushion 7 Thorn will be released in 2023 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. As of now, sizing and pricing information is TBA.
