Reebok has added another rising star to its growing roster of basketball talent by signing Dink Pate, the youngest professional basketball player in U.S. history, to an NIL deal. The 18-year-old phenom joins a lineup with top names like Angel Reese, Lexie Brown, and fellow high school standout Nate Ament.
Dink Pate, a 6’7” point guard, joined the G-League’s Ignite Development team at just 17, bypassing the traditional college route and setting himself up for a fast track to the NBA. With his sights set on the 2025 NBA Draft, where he's projected as a potential top-10 pick, Pate’s signing with Reebok marks a pivotal moment in his young career.
"Reebok is just different – it’s a perfect fit for me, my style, and the way I carry myself," Pate shared when announcing the deal. "I’m just excited to be a part of the family, to represent the brand, and to show OG’s like Shaq and A.I. how serious I am."
The multi-year partnership will see Pate involved in various Reebok brand activations, helping to promote both performance and lifestyle products and the upcoming Engine A basketball shoe, Reebok’s first new performance basketball model in nearly a decade. With his confidence and unconventional journey to the professional ranks, Pate embodies the bold, trailblazing spirit that Reebok is looking for in its athletes.
