Most often, Valentine’s Day-themed sneakers are often seen once we turn the page into the new year, however, most follow the same themes of heart graphics and pink color palettes. Taking inspiration from a key part of the holiday, Reebok has just revealed its latest Pump Omni Zone 2 colorway that reflects a similar look to “Chocolate Covered Strawberries.”
Across the upper of the early 90s basketball model, you’ll find premium suedes mixed in with TPU overlays and velvet linings on the interior. A tonal brown shade covers the mudguard, toebox, quarter panel, collar, and heel while the cage along the midfoot comes in a deeper brown with hints of cream near the top portions. This cream hit contrasts nicely with the brown laces that run through the overlay and work up past the half-velvet-half-suede tongue to stop below a brown pump button. Giving you a peek at the strawberry that is beneath the chocolate, the tongue lining takes on a reddish-pink hue while the insole also continues this color. Rounding out the design is the cream midsole paired with a mainly-brown rubber outsole.
The Reebok Pump Omni Zone 2 Chocolate Covered Strawberries is set to release on February 1st, 2023 through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
