Reebok has a deep-rooted history in footwear, with the brand once having a significant presence in both basketball and tennis. Combining the best of both worlds, Reebok is looking to an alternate universe where NBA legend Shaquille O’Neil played tennis and crafted a new fusion silhouette, the Reebok Shaq Victory Pump. Already seen in a “White” colorway, a “Black” rendition has appeared.
Fusing the iconic Shaq Attaq and Court Victory Pump models, the Reebok Shaq Victory Pump "Black" features a black tumbled leather upper with blue TPU accents on the side cage. Reebok branding appears in white and stands out against the black upper, while the word "Tennis" is embroidered on the tongue. Shaq's logo has been redesigned and placed on the heel, making him appear to be serving in a game of tennis. Along the tongue sits the iconic Pump technology, adding a pop of color with its green and blue finish. The white TPU overlay along the midfoot breaks up the mainly black look, while more green accents are spotted back on the heel and collar. Rounding out the design is a black sole with green speckle paint and blue pops.
The Reebok Shaq Victory Pump Black will be released on April 22nd, 2023, through Reebok and select online and in-store retailers. The shoe will be available in men's sizing, with a retail price of $180.
