Fila Brings The Classic Cartoon Rocko’s Modern Life To The Real World

90s cartoons hold a special place in the hearts of millions that grew up in the era of waking up on Saturday morning with a bowl of cereal and a TV remote in hand. Reruns of these shows still play to this day, however, as adults we don’t have the time we once did to delve into cartoon worlds. To aid us in our nostalgia trips, Fila is bringing a classic 90s cartoon, Rocko’s Modern Life, to the real world with a three-pack of sneakers that are designed after main characters in the show.

Taking over the Renno (Rocko), F-13 (Heffer), and Original Fitness (Filburt), each of the respective cartoon characters is translated into sneaker form both through its color palette and graphic depicting each on the upper. While Heffer’s and Filburt's sneaker’s take on all-leather builds, Rocko’s Fila Renno features suede panels on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel that take on shades similar to his clothing choice. Graphics depicting the characters land on the midfoot and heel with Heffer’s yellow and red appearance seen via the upper and him standing on a purple leather overlay. Filburt’s green and blue shades also appear on the leather overlays with Filburt himself sitting near the midfoot as well as his glasses present on the heel tab. Rounding out the design of each sneaker is a white midsole paired with a tan (Filburt), and icy blue (Heffer and Rocko) rubber outsole.

The Rocko’s Modern Life x Fila Pack is set to release on February 28th, 2023 through Fila and select retailers like Foot Locker online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $85 (Filburt), $90 (Heffer), and $100 (Rocko).
