Many may not look to New Balance for skateboarding sneakers. However, they offer solid choices for your next sesh at the park. The Boston-based brand’s skating division, New Balance Numeric, is bringing in a collaborator for their latest release of the New Balance Tiago Lemos 1010, tapping the Tony Ferguson-led Rone to elevate the humble silhouette.
Rone’s take on the New Balance Tiago Lemos 1010 features a classic white and grey colorway with a premium tumbled leather upper. Overlays around the mudguard, eyestays, midfoot, and heel all come in white tumbled leather, while the toebox features white perforated leather. Accenting this almost all-white sneaker is the metallic silver lace dubrae with Rone branding, grey hits on the "N" logo on the midfoot, and more Rone branding placed on the lateral heel. A creamy midsole with a grey rubber outsole completes the look.
The Rone x New Balance Tiago Lemos 1010 is set to release on April 27th, 2023, through ronebrand.com, followed by a wider release at New Balance and select retailers on May 1st. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
