Salehe Bembury’s monumental collaborations with Crocs on the Pollex have led to the designer being named the creative director of the Pollex Pod Collection. Before launching the slide version of his Crocs Pollex Clog design, Bembury took to Instagram to reveal a series of colorways on the Clog would finally be offered in kids’ sizing. Now, the first kid’s colorway, Slime, is set to launch soon.
Retaining the signature fingerprint motif, the one-piece EVA foam contains its usual perforations and construction on the grade school pairs. However, it appears that the preschool and toddler pairs will forgo the nylon “sport mode” strap and zonal rubber portions on the toe and sole unit. As for this colorway, the “Slime” pair covers the model entirely in a monochromatic slime green hue, somewhat similar to the “Crocodile” pair from 2022.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog Slime will release June 1 through beaspunge.com, while a launch through Crocs goes down on June 6. Releasing in GS and TD sizing, the retail price is set at $70 and $65 respectively.
