Salehe Bembury's innovative partnership with Crocs has consistently captivated the footwear industry, blending Bembury's distinctive design philosophy with Crocs' iconic comfort and versatility. Extending the collaboration between the duo, Bembury signed a two-year deal that makes him the head of the Pollex Pod Collection, which already includes the groundbreaking Pollex Clog and Pollex Slide. While we wait for the first drop of the Pollex Juniper in Guava and Blue Orange, and the new Pollex Saru, a new colorway of the Pollex Slide Grey has emerged. We’re waiting for the Black colorway to hit shelves alongside this unreleased Pollex Slide.
This new variant follows the same design as previous pairs, such as the Croslite foam footbed, ensuring the iconic Crocs comfort is retained while introducing Bembury's unique 3D fingerprint design across the forefoot strap. Echoing the cohesive aesthetic of the Pollex Pod Collection, the Grey Pollex Slide is enveloped in a singular grey hue, providing a sleek and minimalist look that complements a wide array of outfits. The co-branding details, subtly placed on the footbed and the medial sidewall, celebrate the collaboration between Bembury and Crocs. The slide is finished with the 3D fingerprint pattern on the rubber outsole.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Slide Grey will release in 2024 through Salehe Bembury's Be A Spunge website, Crocs, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $70.
