Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months, you'd know that Salehe Bembury's Crocs Pollex Clog has completely dominated the game. World-renowned for his wild and wonderful sneaker designs, the New York City fashion icon lent his signature aesthetic to the controversial clog company in late 2021, and nothing has been the same since. From the "Stratus" to the "Urchin," every single colorway is more popular than the next, and now, Bembury is ready to reveal his next Crocs collab with the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Slide "Purple" - and here's everything that we know so far.
Taking to his official Instagram to make the announcement, the rumored Pollex Slide has been revealed in a rich purple color scheme that bears a striking resemblance to the "Kuwata." Crafted from the brand's Croslite form, the upper strap is decorated with Bembury's fingerprint-like design which has previously made an appearance on his New Balance collections and his upcoming Moncler project. These grooves also make an appearance on the outsole as well, providing wearers with ample grip with every step. Each pair will come packed in a special edition cardboard box that's 100% recyclable for an extra environmentally-friendly approach.
Not much else is known about the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Slide at this moment in time, but rumor has it that it will release sometime in 2023 via Crocs and select stockists online and in-store worldwide. Expected to be available in men's sizes, a retail price has yet TBA.
