Sandy Liang, the NYC-based fashion designer, has made history by becoming the first woman to collaborate with Salomon on a footwear collection. Following up on her work with Vans across multiple models, her upcoming Salomon collaboration will feature two models, the RX Moc 3.0 and XT-6 Expanse, showcasing Springtime-ready shades.
The RX Moc 3.0 keeps things simple with a clean white/black color scheme, while the XT-6 Expanse features a mixture of pink, cream, green, and black. Co-branded details are present along the tongue and insole of both models, with the XT-6 Expanse getting its mesh base covered in pink. Creamy hits along the various overlays, sans the black rubber toe, are present. Underfoot, the RX Moc 3.0 gets an all-black sole unit, while the XT-6 Expanse comes in a pink, white, and black combo.
The Sandy Liang x Salomon Collection will release on April 28th, 2023, through Sandy Liang online and in-store and select retailers on May 5th, 2023. The retail price for the collection has yet to be announced.
