The Serena Williams Design Crew (SWDC) is set to roll out another masterpiece following the recent Dunk Low Disrupt 2 unveiling. The spotlight now shifts to the SWDC x Nike Air Huarache, a shoe that beautifully bridges sportsmanship with fashion.
This iteration of the Huarache brings forth a pristine white palette that effortlessly blends materials such as leather, mesh, neoprene, and TPU to create a harmonious design. With white leather covering the mudguard and midfoot, an intricate topographic design embossed onto the neoprene sections follows the same theme found on the Dunk Low Disrupt 2. Sundial-colored details enhance the Nike text and stitching on the tongue, while hints of jade grace the sockliner and heel, giving the shoe its distinct character. A nod to Serena Williams is placed on the insole. The design comprises a white foam midsole and a durable white rubber outsole.
The SWDC x Nike Air Huarache W will release August 31, 2023, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
