Shoe Palace is partnering with New Balance to release a striking new iteration of the 2002R titled "Lands End. This design pays homage to San Francisco’s iconic Lands End Lookout, reflecting Shoe Palace's roots and the retailer's 30th anniversary.
This iteration of the New Balance 2002R captures the natural allure of the park it's named after. The base colorway mirrors the rugged terrain of Lands End Lookout, a locale known for its rocky and windswept shoreline. Blue laces channel the expansive ocean stretching out from the park, while the extra pink laces represent the soft tints from the Golden Gate Bridge. The green insole nods to the eucalyptus trees dotting the area, and to complete the tribute, the insole also features a labyrinth pattern inspired by a destination point at the lookout.
The Shoe Palace x New Balance 2002R 30th Anniversary Lands End will release July 6 through Shoe Palace and New Balance online. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
