Buffalo Bills' star receiver Stefon Diggs has announced a new partnership with ASICS, a notable departure from his previous affiliation with Jordan Brand.
Diggs has earned a reputation for his exceptional talent on the field and a keen sense of style off of it. He was initially and adidas athlete and released a bespoke tracksuit collection with the brand in 2019. In 2021, Diggs signed a new contract with Jordan Brand. Through the latest partnership, Diggs aims to express his individuality further by stepping outside the norm and aligning with a brand that shares a similar mindset.
“Off the field, I see fashion and style as ways in which I can engage my mind,” Diggs said in an interview with Hypebeast. “Through that lens, I found ASICS and was immediately drawn to their portfolio. Their willingness to collaborate with me and embrace my creative freedom makes me incredibly excited for our future together.”
Unlike most partnerships with athletes, Stefon Diggs and ASICS’ deal will focus on the lifestyle segment. For now, it's unclear if this focus will involve any sort of signature sneaker.
