Taking a non-traditional route from most NBA players, Steph Curry took his talents to Under Armour after his deal with Nike fell through and is building an empire that UA and Curry hope to rival Jordan Brand with the aptly named “Curry Brand.” Since its inception in 2020, we’ve seen plenty of sneaker and apparel releases with 2022 being the year in which the two would ink a lifetime deal valued at nearly $1 billion, locking in Curry as the face of Under Armour basketball for the rest of his life. For Curry Brand’s latest release, it seems the “Splash Party” moniker first seen on the Under Armour Curry 1 (which nodded to Curry's 27th birthday party) has made its way to the Under Armour Curry 10.
Taking on it engineered mesh upper, a criss-cross pattern with stitching details atop this weaved throughout the upper in white with colorful hits landing along the profile of the upper. Lines of blue and volt green compliment the speckled multi-color rubber portions near the toe and heel while the cream-colored leather eyestays receive small hits of pink stitching. This same color is applied to the “X” lace lock and the Curry logo on the silver pull tab atop the tongue while the sockliner nearby takes on a blue diamond pattern. Underfoot sits a white UA Flow-cushioned midsole and outsole which completes the design.
The Under Armour Curry 10 Splash Party is set to release on March 14th, 2023 through Under Armour and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s and grade school sizing, the retail price is set at $160 and $130 respectively.
