During the NBA Playoffs, Steph Curry dominated just about every opponent he faced with ease, but was it because of the shoes? Though not exactly like MJ, his Under Armour Curry 4 FloTro “Lilac” was on-foot during some of his best performances, and now the general public will get a shot to be like Curry.
Premium leathers and suedes sit atop the UA IntelliKnit underlay, all coming in a monochromatic lilac purple. Throughout the sneaker, various perforations and stitching details add depth to the upper. Tonal laces run up the forefoot towards the tongue and its two pull tabs featuring Curry branding, aiding easy on-and-off wear. Along the lateral midfoot, a small patch of suede dons an Under Armour logo, located near the eyestay straps. Underfoot, the one-piece UA Flow midsole and outsole get covered in white, designed to mimic the geometry and tooling of the original Curry 4’s midsole while providing unparalleled traction, comfort, and responsiveness on the court.
The Under Armour x Curry 4 FloTro Lilac, while seeing an early release through Footlocker, is slated to get a wider release on August 5th, 2022 through Under Armour and select UA retailers online and in-store. Coming in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
