Kobe Bryant’s legacy will forever live on through the collective memory of those who witnessed his incredible on-court performance and through his footwear with Nike. Releases of his footwear have become more and more consistent over the last year, with multiple pairs of Kobe 6s, Kobe 8s, and Kobe 4s on the calendar. While many of these are available to the public, Bryant’s wife Vanessa often shares PE colorways of his sneakers on her Instagram. Previously showcasing the Dodgers, Leopard Print, and two Valentine’s Day PEs, Vanessa shared images of a Kobe 4 that takes inspiration from the famous Job's Not Finished quote by Kobe Bryant.
The sneaker utilizes a leather and mesh construction across a tonal grey hue upper, with the medial portions showcased by Vanessa. The Swoosh has been removed on this side with two phrases embroidered in black cursive. On the right shoe, we see the Mamba Mentality embroidered while the left shoe hosts Job's Not Finished, a quote from Bryant he said during a press conference after going up 2-0 in the 2009 NBA Finals. Aside from this and the heel, which splits Kobe’s two jersey numbers, 24 and 8, the rest of the sneaker is not pictured but likely keeps things tonal throughout the design. Underfoot sits a tonal midsole and outsole.
Unfortunately for the public, this special Job's Not Finished Kobe 4 will not be hitting shelves, and instead likely was exclusively made for Vanessa Bryant.
