With the Nike Kobe line officially being “relaunched” on Kobe Day 2023, we’re now set to receive regular releases of Nike Kobe products like the Kobe 4 and Kobe 8. This year, we’re expecting multiple colorways on the former of the two silhouettes, including the Girl Dad, Philly, and Olympic. Vanessa Bryant has unveiled a new gem on her Instagram, a special PE edition of the Nike Kobe 4 Protro designed for Valentine's Day. Vanessa’s Nike Kobe 4 Protro Valentine's Day PE is draped in various shades of pink, offering a softer, more romantic take on the basketball classic. The upper is crafted from premium tumbled leather, enveloping the shoe in a hot pink hue. The tongue, woven from breathable mesh, along with the laces, tongue tag, and the iconic Nike Swoosh on the midfoot, is rendered in a lighter shade of pink, adding a subtle contrast to the design.
The delicate balance of colors continues on the heel counter, where a light pink TPU provides support and stability. This romantic color scheme is perfectly rounded off with a striking hot pink midsole, complementing the tones of the upper. The design is completed with a semi-translucent outsole, blending performance with aesthetic appeal.
Unfortunately, the Nike Kobe 4 Protro Valentine's Day PE is not set for public release and likely will remain exclusive to Vanessa Bryant.
