adidas has seen a resurgence in its basketball department thanks mainly to Anthony Edwards' success on the court and the hype around the AE 1. Besides Ant-Man, adidas Basketball also recalls Kobe Bryant's era with the label through the reinvigorated Crazy line, starting with the Crazy IIInfinity, a modern-day update to the Crazy 1 sneaker. Coming off looks at the new Preloved Ink colorway, images of the Bred colorway have appeared. On top of this Bred pair, Anthony Edwards' AE 1 is also getting a similar makeover.
The adidas Crazy IIInfinity Bred features a synthetic, mesh, and TPU upper with a striking two-tone black and red finish. Red hues dominate the toecap and midfoot panel, showcasing Three Stripe branding debossed into the material. The top half of the sneaker is cloaked in black, including the mesh shroud with a zipper to hide the laces, the mesh tongue, the collar, and the TPU heel tab. This design provides a sleek, modern look and offers practical benefits such as a secure fit. Underfoot sits an EVA-cushioned midsole paired with a red and black rubber outsole, ensuring optimal comfort and traction on the court.
The adidas Crazy IIInfinity Bred will release on October 1, 2024, through select retailers online and in-store, followed by a drop via adidas on November 9. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
