KAWS Release Dates

Brian Donnelly, better known as KAWS, has become an art and street culture phenomenon. Recognized by the iconic crossed-out eyes of his Companions, KAWS has effortlessly transitioned his distinctive design language from large-scale sculptures and vinyl toys to the realm of sneakers.

KAWS first Nike project was in 2008 as part of Nike’s 1World Project, in which 18 creatives from across the globe were given the opportunity to design their own Air Force 1. A few short months after the Nike Air Force 1 Low 1World KAWS was released, the KAWS Niek Air Max 1 1World Pack was released and was equally successful.

KAWS and Jordan took the sneaker world by storm with their rendition of the Jordan 4. The KAWS x Air Jordan 4, draped in luxurious grey suede and adorned with those trademark KAWS motifs, set a new standard. With its glow-in-the-dark outsoles and embroidered details, it was clear that every inch of the shoe was infused with KAWS' meticulous touch.
