The adidas Fear of God Athletics Basketball II Appears in a D-Rose Edition
It feels like the Fear Of God x adidas collaboration has finally got some wind in its sails, with the new FOGA Basketball II model being acclaimed and worn on the NBA courts. In part, it was due to a big marketing campaign featuring one of the game's greats, Derrick Rose. Sighted on Instagram, thanks to D-Rose via his stories, a sample pair of the adidas Fear Of God Athletics Basketball II has surfaced in a direct theme to Rose.
The adidas Fear of God Athletics Basketball II D-Rose edition features black suede that makes up the majority of the upper, with cutouts for the distinctive Three Stripes showing an underlay of breathable mesh contrasting in white. Around the collar is a strap that provides a secure fit, extending to the medial ankle. On the right shoe, this overlay is black, and on the left, it comes in red, a signature D-Rose touch that nods to his time with the Chicago Bulls.
A white rope lace set breaks up the dark backdrop even more. The show's star is at the back of the shoe, with the D-Rose logo visible on the back heel. Underneath this, the Fear Of God linear logo appears on the midsole. The thick and chunky sole is encased in translucent rubber, exposing the white midsole on the medial sides.
There are no release details for the adidas Fear of God Athletics Basketball II D-Rose. The pair remains a sample, possibly for friends and family.
