Jordan Brand and its iconic Air Jordan 1 have seen various makeovers throughout the years, changing cuts and transitioning into a golf-ready sneaker just to name a few. Introduced to us earlier in 2022, the Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low brings the platform sole trend to the classic silhouette, this time coming in a two-tone Cement Grey and Varsity Maize.
While previous colorways have borrowed from some of the most iconic AJ1s, the latest from Jordan Brand ventures off into its own territory. Dressed in leather across the entire upper, the mudguard, eyelets, Nike Swoosh, and heel overlays take on a varsity maize color, accenting the cement grey seen on the underlay. Further hits of cement grey are seen on the leather tongue, taking on a brand-less look. Inside the silhouette, a cork insole comes with Nike Air branding, surrounded by the two-tone grey and yellow on the sockliner. Rounding out the look is the white platform midsole set to a reworked varsity maize rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low Cement Grey Varsity Maize W has already seen a release through select shops with a wider release through Nike set for sometime in 2022. Coming exclusively in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $135.
