When the Air Jordan 13 was initially released in 1998-99, the final two releases from the Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette came in low-top form. These two colorways are known as the Navy and Chutney editions, and both were retroed in 2017. While the 2017 AJ 13 Low Navy retro was renamed Brave Blue, the Chutney pair was unchanged. Fast forward to 2022, and Jordan Brand would bring back the AJ 13 Navy in high-top form for the first time. For Spring 2025, history will repeat itself as JB is re-releasing the AJ 13 Chutney in high-top for the first time.
The 2024 Air Jordan 13 Retro Chutney is identical to its original low-top counterpart, converted into a high. Chutney suede panels adorn the upper, clashing with the dominant black seen on the rest. More chutney covers the Jumpman logo on the tongue, branding on the tongue tag, and lining. As this pair is high-top, the classic cat eye hologram graces the ankle instead of the metal Jumpman featured on the low. A black midsole sits atop a chutney-colored solid rubber outsole to finish this AJ 13 off.
The Air Jordan 13 Retro Chutney was originally set to release in Holiday 2024. However, it has officially been canceled. If it is released in the future, it will be available through Nike, SNKRS, and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. If it is released in the future, it will be available via Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, retail is set at $200, $150, $90, and $75, respectively.
