Starting in the 2000s, Jordan Brand began to release packs of retro J’s that were all centered around the same theme with some of the most iconic being the “DMP,” “Golden Moments,” and “Fear” Packs. All of these have become some of the most sought-after sneakers for collectors. Those who missed out on the Fear Pack, particularly the Air Jordan 3, you're in luck! The Air Jordan 3 “Fear” is confirmed to return for Holiday 2023. The best part? They will come in full-family sizing this time around!
Originally encompassing the Air Jordan 3 through Air Jordan 5 (all sold separately), the sneakers were an homage to the 2008 ad campaign “Become Legendary” and featured darker shades throughout each mixed with bright pops (sans the black and grey AJ 4). For the AJ 3, we saw grey shades take over the nubuck upper with the classic elephant print on the mudguard and heel coming in a two-tone grey finish. Along the eyestays, tongue, and collar sits perforated nubuck in black with grey accents on the middle section of the eyelets and orange pops coming courtesy of the bottom and top TPU eyelets. Jumpman branding atop the tongue and on the heel also take on this orange shade while the design comes rounded out by a tri-toned grey, white, and black midsole paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro Fear is set to return on November 25th, 2023 through Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $210 for men.
