Anthony Edwards’ Budget-Friendly adidas Believe That 1 Sneaker Releases in 2026

While Nike Basketball has dominated the signature sneaker landscape for the last decade, adidas struck gold when it introduced the first model from Anthony Edwards, the adidas AE 1. Initial plans for Ant's line were to introduce the second model, the AE 2, in December 2024, just one year after the first AE 1 hit shelves. However, with the resounding success of multiple outlets and sneakerheads proclaiming the model to be the year's sneaker for 2024, adidas pushed the AE 2 back to 2025. Now, on top of a follow-up to the AE 1, adidas and Edwards will launch a budget-friendly sneaker dubbed the adidas Believe That 1.
As of this writing, images of this new sneaker have not yet appeared. Sole Retriever can confirm that pairs will begin to hit shelves in early 2026 but could see an earlier release near the end of 2025. Tech specs are limited, but we do know that adidas' Dreamstrike cushioning, a slightly denser version of the brand's Lightstrike cushioning, will be included in the pair. Colorways are also expected to mimic original AE 1 colorways, like Velocity Blue, Best of Adi, and With Love iterations.
Anthony Edwards’ adidas Believe That 1 will debut either at the end of 2025 or early parts of 2026 and release through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. While we have no confirmation on a retail price, expect it to be under $100 as the AE 1 and AE 1 Low are priced at $120 and $110, respectively. Pairs will be available in both men’s and GS sizing.
