Unfortunately for sneakerheads in the United States, atmos has left the region, choosing to focus on its Asian roots. What makes matters worse is that recently, atmos Tokyo has been on a collaborative spree with several major brands, including Asics on the Gel-NYC and Gel-Kayano 14, New Balance on the 580, and adidas on the LWST silhouette. Now, atmos and adidas are reuniting for an exciting adidas ZX8000 collaboration. This new release, the ZX8000 G-SNK 9, features eye-catching glow-in-the-dark snakeskin details that set it apart from other models.
The atmos Tokyo x adidas ZX8000 G-SNK 9 combines premium materials and bold design elements to create a standout sneaker. The upper showcases leather, mesh, and TPU, providing durability and breathability. The highlight of the design is the glow-in-the-dark snakeskin pattern, which adorns the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay.
This unique feature ensures the sneaker stands out even in low-light conditions. A white mesh base offers a clean and classic look, while black and blue accents add vibrant pops of color. These accents appear on the toebox overlay, Three Stripes branding, and sockliner, enhancing the overall aesthetic. Underfoot, a blue foam midsole provides cushioning and support, complementing a tonal rubber outsole that ensures traction and durability.
The atmos Tokyo x adidas ZX8000 G-SNK 9 will release on August 9, 2024, through atmos Tokyo online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at ¥18,700 (approx $122).
