Though Pharrell Williams has his own collaborative project with adidas through his Human Race line, the superstar producer linked with Nigo to found the streetwear label and retailer Billionaire Boys Club in 2003. One of the brand's more frequent collaborators, Reebok, has teamed up with BBC once again on a military-inspired Reebok Zig Kinetica II.
Covering the mesh on the upper is a digitized camo in earth-tone browns and greens, accented by wavy stitch patterns in white along the profile. BBC makes their mark through its iconic astronaut logo in a digitized white with the brand's full name spelled out along the nylon pull-tab of the tongue. Back on the heel is yet another pull-tab, coming stacked and hiding BBC’s motto “Wealth is of the heart and mind, not pocket.” Surrounding this is a perforated leather underlay and suede overlay, detailed in olive and tan respectively. Rounding out the look is the cream colored TPU midsole encapsulating the Floatride Fuel cushioning and Zig Energy Band outsole in a light khaki color.
The BBC x Reebok Zig Kinetica II Digi-Camo is set to release on May 6th, 2022 through BBC, and through Reebok and select retailers worldwide on May 13th. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
