The sneaker world is set to witness another exciting collaboration as Bone Soda, a renowned record label and creative hub, partners once again with Salomon, the trailblazing outdoor sports brand. Following their earlier 2023 collaboration on the limited edition Salomon Sportstyle RX Slide 3.0, the duo is back, this time with a more traditional footwear offering: the Bone Soda x Salomon XT-6 Expanse. This release is poised to captivate the sneaker community, blending Bone Soda's creative ethos with Salomon's technical expertise.
The Salomon XT-6 Expanse retains its signature technically focused construction, with a unique blend of leather and textile dominating the upper. One of the standout features is the intricate web pattern applied across various sections of the upper. This design element overlays the purple mesh base, which gradually transitions into a lighter shade near the leather portions at the midfoot and toe. This web pattern is not just a visual treat; it symbolizes the strength and interconnectedness of communities, echoing the collaboration's ethos that "no man is an island." The collaboration is further highlighted through co-branding on the black leather tongue and on the insole, merging the identities of Salomon and Bone Soda in this exclusive design. The sneaker is finished with vanilla-shaded leather that acts as a mudguard and constructs the midfoot overlays, contrasting beautifully against the dark mesh of the tongue. Underneath, the sneaker features a blacked-out midsole and outsole equipped with Salomon's Agile Chassis System (ACS), ensuring both style and functionality.
The Bone Soda x Salomon XT-6 Expanse will release November 16, 2023, through Bone Soda and Salomon online and in-store. The retail price is set at $200. Stay updated on this release and more in the sneaker and streetwear world by downloading the Sole Retriever mobile app.
