Dover Street Market Puts Their Touch On The New Balance 991 Made In UK

If you’re a big footwear or streetwear brand, most likely you’ve had a collaboration with Dover Street Market. Following a recent Japanese exclusive Nike Eagle, DSM has announced they’re working with New Balance on a 991 Made In UK that celebrates the 40 years of the Boston-based brands Flimby, UK factory.
Dover Street Market reimagined the classic New Balance Grey on the cult classic 991, coming covered in premium nubuck across the overlays. Accenting this is a silver mesh and tan synthetic leather throughout. New Balance “N” branding makes it on the midfoot, dressed in a silver 3M material while the tongue comes with both 991 and Dover Street Market details. On the lining of the tongue a tag noting the 40 years of New Balance manufacturing in the UK is present. Back on the heel, DSM overtakes the heel tab branding on the left pair, with 991 being featured on the right. Rounding out the look is the triple density Abzorb cushioned midsole, coming in tan, white, and black, paired with a black and silver rubber outsole.
The Dover Street Market x New Balance 991 Made In UK is set to release on April 14th, 2022 exclusively through Dover Street Market online and in-store.
