Recently gracing the cover of the video game MLB: The Show 23, Jazz Chisholm’s career continues to expand outside of his performance on the baseball diamond. Announced by Roc Nation Sports, the agency he is represented by, the Bahamian-born MLB star is now the fifth player in the Majors and the first of Bahamian descent to be signed to Jordan Brand.
Even though he has been a Nike-affiliated athlete for some time, this move to Jordan Brand is a significant milestone for Jazz as he stated, “It means everything to me. You know, I’m always the guy that never really wanted to do the same thing as people, I always wanted to be one of a few, you know, I mean not one of many, so it’s great that this is what I always wanted and this is what I’m glad to be a part of.”
In the past, we’ve seen Chisholm rock pairs like the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “University Blue” during practice sessions and even rocking Air Jordan cleats in games such as the Air Jordan 12 Retro “Flu Game” on top of customs themed around Oreos, Road Runner, and Dior.
In the future, we can expect Chisholm to take action in center field for the Miami Marlins in various Jordan cleats, be it PEs or GR pairs like the Air Jordan 1 Retro MCS series. On top of this, Jazz should take place in marketing campaigns for Jordan Brand.
