A January 3rd Instagram post from Joe Freshgoods teased a third New Balance collab with the caption “#3”. Over the following months it has been revealed that JFG and New Balance's 3rd project will be on the New Balance 9060.
Looking back, Joe Freshgoods first nailed it with the Valentine’s Day 2020 release of the 992s from his Don’t Be Mad Joe Freshgoods x New Balance “No Emotions Are Emotions” Collection. Composed of rich red and pink suede with burgundy mesh accents, the sneaker was a standout and has since consistently sold on secondary markets for almost $1,500 more than the $260 retail price. In 2021, Joe Freshgoods did it again with the “Outside Clothes” 990v3, which received similar hype with its bright, earth-inspired color palette. Both sneakers topped best-sneaker-of-the-year lists in their respective release years.
Now, Joe and New Balance are collaborating on New Balance's 9060 silhouette in a project being titled, "Inside Voices." The New Balance 9060 x Joe Freshgoods Inside Voices is expected to release in two colorways with one being tan and green and the other being baby shower blue.
