Luka Doncic keeps coming forward with new colorways of his signature sneakers with Jordan Brand, the Jordan Luka 3. The design inspiration from high-performance cars has led to multiple colorways coming with direct nods to this world. However, more recently, the model has been recalling previous Luka sneakers, like the Luka 3 Imaginarium Pink Prime, Imaginarium, and Mavtador. A new Black Hyper Grape rendition now recalls the Jordan Luka 2’s All-Star colorway.
Like the previously released Jordan Luka 2 All-Star, the pair features a multi-color mixture of purples, pinks, aqua blues, and yellow. Grounding the design is the ripstop textile upper in black, containing wavy striations that evoke the sense of a high-speed vehicle speeding by. While the collar, midfoot Isoplate, and TPU reinforcements near the lateral toe come in black and grey hues, the tongue and sockliner are where we see the first pops of color. The mesh and leather tongue and the tongue’s lining come in a purple shade contrasted by the pink lace set. Split branding for Luka and Jordan is found on the tongue tag, taking on a yellow shade that matches the medial side’s midsole. Aqua blue takes over the sockliner and heel tab, the latter containing a pink and yellow nylon pull tab. Underfoot sits a Cushlon 3.0-cushioned foam midsole paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Jordan Luka 3 Black Hyper Grape will release on November 26, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is $130 and $100, respectively.
