Jayson Tatum, the star forward for the Boston Celtics and Jordan Brand athlete, recently launched his first signature sneaker silhouette, the Jordan Tatum 1. Alongside the four launch colorways, Tatum has been spotted wearing several PE colorways over the past few weeks, including a tribute to his mother and a pair crafted in a “Blueprint” theme. During last night's W over the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Playoffs, he was seen sporting a special pair of the Jordan Tatum 1 in an "EYBL" color, paying homage to Nike's youth basketball tournament.
Featuring its usual lightweight mesh, TPU, and leather upper, this EYBL-themed pair comes primarily in a white color scheme. Vibrant accents land on the pink rubber toe guard and gradient pattern on the extension of the sole unit along the midfoot, while the tongue tag features Tatum's "JT" logo on the right pair and an EYBL logo on the left. These logos, along with the heel’s Jumpman logo and Tatum’s number 0, receive hits of pink. A white foam midsole with an uncaged Zoom Air unit in the forefoot and a white rubber outsole completes the look.
The Jordan Tatum 1 EYBL is currently not confirmed to see a release, though it may be possible to see a limited drop sometime in 2023. Keep an eye on our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app for the latest release information, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
