Kasina is certainly no stranger when it comes to high profile sneaker collaborations. Following its Air Max 1 partnership in 2022 and its Dunk Low project two years before that, the South Korean boutique has now teamed up with adidas for the Kasina x Kim Jung Gi x adidas Campus 80s "Collegiate Yellow." Paying homage to the South Korean comic artist, who sadly passed away suddenly in October, it honors his life and legacy in the most Jung Gi way possible.
Outfitted in collegiate yellow suede throughout, these sneakers are contrasted by core black Three Stripe branding which decorates the lateral and medial sidewalls. Crisp white leather dresses the tongue and heel badge, and you'll also find a plethora of Jung Gi's illustrations throughout. The left sneaker showcases a Korean tiger spitting out a pile of skulls and bones, while the right one displays a little girl grabbing the beast by the tail while wearing the exact same Campus 80s. All of this comes paired with custom co-branded insoles, a special edition shoebox, and two extra sets of laces for you to mix and match as you please.
The Kasina x Kim Jung Gi x adidas Campus 80s Collegiate Yellow is set to release on March 10th, 2023. Dropping in men's sizes, it'll be available via the adidas, the CONFIRMED app, and select retailers worldwide with a retail price of $130.
