The story of the tortoise and the hare dates back over a century ago. One of Aesop's Fables, the tale has now inspired the Maybe Tomorrow x Saucony "Tortoise & Hare" Pack. Known primarily for creating Justin Timberlake's beanies, New York's very own Maybe Tomorrow has given two of Saucony's most popular silhouettes an eye-catching makeover, and here's everything that we know so far.
The Saucony Shadow 6000 "Hare" features a grey and white color scheme with pink accents and a shaggy suede makeover that resembles a rabbit's fur coat. The Saucony 3D Grid Hurricane "Tortoise," on the other hand, opts for a green and orange palette. The heel badge of the left shoe features a faux reptile skin, while the right one boasts a tortoise shell-like texture. The respective animals can be found on the tongues, and you'll also find "MAYBE TOMORROW" branding finely stitched around the back in a contrast white tone. Both sneakers come packed in special edition shoeboxes, making them must-haves for all the collectors out there.
Releasing at ComplexCon on November 19th, 2022, the Maybe Tomorrow x Saucony Shadow 6000 Hare and Maybe Tomorrow x Saucony 3D Grid Hurricane Tortoise will be available in men's sizes with a retail price set at $150 for the "Hare" and $160 for the "Tortoise." A wider launch at select retailers worldwide is set for December 30th.
