Jaden Smith took a different path from his dad, Will, favoring New Balance over Jordan Brand sneakers. Since signing with the brand as an ambassador, Smith has been given his silhouette twice, first working on the Vision Racer model and, more recently, the retro basketball 550-esque MSFTrep New Balance 0.01. Following up on Grey and Black White colorways from April, Jaden has teased two new colorways, including this white pair, set to drop before the year ends
Alongside a Baby Blue rendition, Jaden applies a monochromatic color palette to this rendition of his latest New Balance sneaker. Tonal cream-white shades cover most of the leather paneling, with more traditional cream shades accenting the collar and portions of the sole unit. In place of an N logo on the midfoot, Smith opts for an embroidered NB logo, while we see his MSFTSrep label represented on the heel, insole, and medial midfoot via the brand’s logo. Underfoot sits a New Balance 550-esque rubber midsole with portions cut out near the midfoot and toe to reveal the foam cushioning within, paired with a tonal rubber outsole.
The MSFTSrep x New Balance 0.01 White will release sometime in 2024 through New Balance, Jaden Smith’s MSFTSrep, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
