Kobe Bryant’s signature sneaker line has long been a favorite of hoopers, and thankfully, Nike understands this. After limiting the production numbers and the number of colors offered to the public following a renewal of the partnership thanks to Vanessa Bryant, The Swoosh began to offer Team Bank colors of select models, starting with the Kobe 8 last fall. Now, ahead of the Nike Kobe 9 Low EM Team Bank pack later this year, the Oregon Ducks women’s basketball program has just debuted a new version of an iconic Nike Kobe 9 Low EM PE — Think Pink.

Think Pink has been a theme that’s extended across the Nike Kobe signature sneaker line throughout its history, with the color scheme made in collaboration with the non-profit Kay Yow Cancer Fund, which aims to help fight all forms of cancer in women. After the Nike Kobe 6 hit shelves in 2011, various PE colorways on other models made their way to athletes in the NCAA, NBA, and WNBA, including the Nike Kobe 9 Low EM Think Pink PE. Images of this pair made their way online in 2014, though this new version for 2025 is decidedly different.

Like the original, the pair has a vibrant pink engineered mesh base extending across the upper. However, accenting colors and panels here come in a metallic pink instead of black. These metallic pink details appear along the tongue's top and on the heel tab, the latter hosting the Kay Yow logo in white embroidery. More white accents are on the nylon lace loops, Swoosh, and the Kobe logo atop the tongue. This version opts for a white and pink foam midsole, as opposed to the black and pink speckled finish of the OG, and features an icy translucent rubber outsole, different from 2014's solid pink outsole.

The 2025 Nike Kobe 9 Low EM Think Pink PE will remain exclusive to select Nike Kobe schools and athletes. However, the Oregon Ducks plan to give a pair away to a fan at today's Stomp Out Cancer Game when the women’s basketball team plays the Indiana Hoosiers.
