Known for her creative and environmentally conscious approach, McLaughlin has made her mark with notable collaborations with Reebok, Hoka, Merrell, and Vans.
In her debut collaboration with Puma, McLaughlin brings her unique vision to one of the brand's most iconic models: The Puma Suede. This design is a vibrant expression of her signature style, featuring a playful patchwork design combining various colors. Each sneaker panel is made of a different color and material, with meticulous stitching details that emphasize the DIY essence of McLaughlin's work.
An exciting element of this design is the addition of a kiltie on the lacing system, which extends the patchwork theme across the shoe. It's also notable that each pair will be a unique, 1-of-1 design as the patchwork is not uniform amongst all the pairs produced. Completing the design is a crisp white sole unit, providing a clean finish to the colorful upper.
The Nicole McLaughlin x Puma Suede will release December 3, 2024, via atmos Tokyo. A wider release via Puma and other global retailers will take place in the coming weeks.
