Nike's ACG division (All Conditions Gear) has a history of delivering innovative, outdoor-ready footwear. In 2024, it's set to reintroduce the Nike ACG Rufus, a silhouette initially launched in 2001. The Rufus, a mule clog that blended comfort with a rugged, technically advanced design, gained little attention during its original release. However, it is poised to significantly impact today's market, where archival silhouettes are increasingly sought after.
Helping kick off this revival is the Limestone colorway. The mule clog boasts a luxurious limestone suede upper, staying true to its original form while fitting seamlessly into current style trends. The design is subtly branded, with a debossed Swoosh on the lateral side, adding a touch of Nike's iconic style without overwhelming the shoe's overall look. The black interior is adorned with the familiar “all conditions gear” slogan, celebrating Nike's commitment to producing versatile, high-performance gear. The Rufus is finished with a chunky black foam midsole, ensuring comfort and durability, and a limestone rubber outsole ready for outdoor adventures.
The Nike ACG Rufus Limestone will release on May 1, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, the sneaker will retail for $110. Stay in the loop with the latest sneaker releases and updates by downloading the Sole Retriever mobile app.
