Nike’s Air Max lineup continues to innovate to this day with new models like the Air Max Pulse and retros of the “Big Bubble” Air Max 1 set for release in 2023, however, many prefer the nostalgic feelings of the 90s. Aside from the obvious Air Max 90 or 97 releases, the Air Max 95 with its human anatomy-inspired design comes in as one of the top retro Air Max models and Nike is giving the silhouette a toggle lace-laden makeover for the ladies.
Taking on a “Metallic Silver” colorway, the Air Max 95 comes dressed in its usual mesh and leather overlays with the bone-like side panels coming dressed in a single shade of metallic silver. Accenting black hits take over the mesh around the eyestays as well as the toggle lacing system which allows for easy lacing and a more secure fit on your foot. Near the heel, you’ll spot some tan-like shades on the embroidered Swoosh on the lateral side and via the bottom leather overlay while a lone hit of gold is found atop the tongue’s Air Max logo. Rounding out the design is the creamy Air Max 95 midsole with exposed Air units in the heel and forefoot paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max 95 Toggle Metallic Silver (W) is set to release on March 16th, 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
