The Eco-Friendly Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus Appears in Olive Green
PublishedAs sustainability becomes a primary focus in the fashion and footwear industries, Nike continues to innovate and create eco-friendly sneakers for environmentally conscious consumers. The Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus, part of the brand's Move to Zero initiative, is a prime example of Nike's dedication to reducing its environmental footprint. For its latest colorway, we see the model appear in “Olive Green.”
The upper sees a mix of recycled materials, including mesh and synthetic textiles, in varying shades of olive green. Contrasting this earthy hue are black hits found on the embroidered toebox, semi-hidden Nike Swoosh, eyelets, and heel. White TPU peeks through the olive green exoskeleton and matches the tongue and lace set it connects to. On the insole, we see a volt green finish applied alongside a black Nike Swoosh pinwheel that notes the model's use of recycled materials. Underfoot, the midsole maintains its usual Tuned Air cushioning, with the standard foam replaced by Crater Foam, a more sustainable constructed material. Rounding out the look is the Nike Grind rubber outsole in olive green.
The Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus Olive Green will release this fall through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $185.
