Nike has a rich history of reviving classic silhouettes and reimagining them for modern times. One such model is the Nike Field General 82, a sneaker originally designed for the football field and worn by some of the NFL's finest during its initial run. With the growing popularity of retro-inspired designs, Nike has brought back the Field General 82, transforming it into a lifestyle sneaker that combines heritage with contemporary style. Following the successful releases of the Black White, White Varsity Red, and White Orange Blaze colorways, Nike introduces the Aluminum Total Orange iteration.
The Nike Field General 82 Aluminum Total Orange features a striking combination of materials and colors. The upper is primarily covered in an aluminum hue, blending leather and nylon seamlessly. The nylon material is prominently displayed on the toe and midfoot, offering breathability and a lightweight feel. Leather overlays are used on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel, adding a premium touch to the design. The vibrant total orange accents make the sneaker stand out, with pops of color on the leather Swoosh, heel tab, and Nike-branded tongue tag. Underfoot, a gum rubber midsole and outsole provide a classic finish, ensuring both style and durability.
The Nike Field General 82 Aluminum Total Orange will release on August 20, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
