LeBron James may be nearing the end of his career, however, his latest addition to his signature series of sneakers with Nike (the Nike LeBron 20) is specifically designed for not James himself but the next generation of athletes. Its design is radically different compared to the last few entries in the series yet continues to appear in colorways that you can picture James rocking on the court. The latest of these, the Nike LeBron 20 “James Gang," celebrates LeBron and his family members.
Constructed out of an engineered mesh across its upper, a tonal laser orange shade takes over with hits of purple peeking throughout the weave. Perforated leather details appear along the eyestays and atop the tongue, taking on a similar laser orange hue to match the upper and lace set. Accenting this vibrant shade of orange are metallic hits on the lace dubrae and topmost eyestay, volt green stitching on the tongue, and double Swoosh action that comes in racer blue lined with volt green and a Fuschia logo just below. Back on the heel, you find LeBron’s crown logo stamped on a blue leather patch while the design of the entire silhouette is rounded out via a white and laser orange midsole paired with an oxygen purple rubber outsole.
The Nike LeBron 20 James Gang will release June 8 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
