As Nike Basketball continues its trend of retroing older LeBron signature sneakers to the general public, we finally see the Nike Zoom LeBron 2 return. This original colorway, dubbed the “USA” edition, was originally worn by James when competing with the USA Men’s basketball team in 2004.
The navy ballistic mesh on the upper is paneled with overlays of white leather.. Around the ankle collar of the shoe, a laser-etched graffiti print can be seen peeking out from underneath the gigantic ankle strap. A giant, navy jeweled Swoosh piped in red is found on the white lockdown strap that buckles directly into the leather heel panel, using a metal eye that’s stitched right into the upper. The “LBJ23” logo on the lateral side heel counter is in all navy blue, except for the pop of crimson red on the crown logo. The midsole sits atop the Pebax-encapsulated Zoom Air unit in navy, with the white portions of the outsole wrapping up and around the midfoot and toe.
The Nike Zoom LeBron 2 USA is set to release on October 25th, 2022. They will be available at Nike, the SNKRS app, and at select retailers worldwide, online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizes, retail is set at $210. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
