Puma’s revival of the Mostro silhouette has seen multiple inline releases, like the Ectasty and Perforated Leather packs, and collaborations with Aries. The archival surf and running-inspired shoe is reimagined in monochromatic colors: Black and Frosted Ivory.
Along the sneaker, we see a ripstop nylon base in a tonal hue, a light cream on the Frosted Ivory colorway, and a black hue on the Black pair. Leather panels come placed on the Formstrip along the midfoot and via a panel near the laceless tongue, which features straps for lockdown support. A TPU heel counter continues the tonal hues, with Puma branding in the form of the cat logo. Underfoot, both pairs come complete with a spiked rubber sole unit inspired by ‘60s running spikes, finished in tonal hues to match the color palette of each respective colorway.
The Puma Mostro Monochromatic Pack will release on September 21, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
