As part of their 20th-anniversary festivities, they're collaborating with an impressive roster of 20 brands, ensuring each partnership encapsulates their commitment to offering cutting-edge fashion. Among these anticipated releases is the collaboration with Salomon, a brand well-known for its blend of performance and style, on the XT-6. This partnership has the sneaker community buzzing, especially after the recent glimpses of SSENSE's New Balance 1906R collaboration.
SSENSE’s Salomon XT-6 Gore-Tex is poised to be a hit among trail runners and streetwear fans. Retaining all the technical prowess, Salomon is renowned for, the shoe has been amplified with a Gore-Tex layer, promising superior waterproof protection. Aesthetically, the design showcases a harmonious blend of brown, black, and white tones. The shoe's base layer features a rich brown, while black and white TPU overlays add structure to the upper. The efficient SpeedLace system is retained and rendered in a sleek black. Contrasting the muted color palette, branding stands out prominently, with Salomon's signature on the heel and the Gore-Tex emblem gracing the toe. Completing the design is the foam midsole, equipped with the Agile Chassis System (ACS), finished in a striking two-tone scheme of volt green and blue, and the robust black rubber outsole ensures durability and grip on diverse terrains.
The SSENSE x Salomon XT-6 GTX will release October 19, 2023, exclusively via SSENSE online. As of now, the retail price has yet to be announced.
